New business and funding opportunity in Alberta, Canada for innovative European SMEs active in the water sector.
Alberta Innovates is looking for project proposals which will address water innovation challenges in Alberta. These projects must fit within the following funding streams:
- Integrated Approaches to Water Management,
- Management of Climate Change Impacts,
- Water and Wastewater Management in Rural, Indigenous and/or Remote Communities.
Important! It is possible for a non-Canadian company to participate but they should have a strong Alberta connection/partner and be addressing an Alberta challenge. Innovations can originate from anywhere globally, but must be researched, piloted, demonstrated, and/or implemented in Alberta. Furthermore, a problem owner, end-user and/or recipient of the generated knowledge/outcomes must be included in the project.
Successful applicants can receive up to $750.000 CAD (up to 50% of the total project costs) from Alberta Innovates.
